Silver Slashers' Award
Ramblers Cymru have presented an award to the Silver Slashers for all their sterling work clearing, repairing and opening foorpaths on the island.
It is good to have recognition for their dedication, turning out week after week in all weathers.
The Daily Post will be visiting them on Thursday 21st January to report on their activities so look out for the subsequent newspaper article.
Gwynedd Archaeological Trust - can you help?
We received this email recently:-
I am from Gwynedd Archaeological Trust and we are running a project called Arfordir which is the recording of archaeology under threat along the coast. We are looking for volunteers for this project and we were wondering if your members would be interested. The type of volunteers we are looking for are people who regularly walk along the coast. Be it a morning walk with the dog or a lengthy trek. We are running workshops which will be an introduction to the project.
If you think your members maybe interested I could send you some more information.
